Returns Policy and Warranty

Returns policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after the tracked shipping marking your watch as having been delivered to you, to request a return, in addition to your legally required statutory 14-day right to cancel for any reason. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, other than during the initial 14-day “cooling-off” (Statutory Right to Cancel) period you may handle a watch to the same extent you would in a physical shop (e.g., trying it on your wrist), with tags and any paperwork, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Returns within 30 days will qualify for a full refund.

You also retain the Statutory 30-day Short-term Right to Reject for faulty goods.

Once your returned watch is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. After determining if the watch is faulty, we will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to the original method of payment, within 10 working days.

To return your product, you need to email us to find out where to ship it to. When shipping, please make a note of your tracking number and ensure you keep a copy of proof of postage. We recommend that you use a trackable shipping service when returning your items, as the goods are your responsibility whilst in transit.

We will pay the cost of return if:
a) if the products are faulty or incorrectly described; or
(b) if you are ending the contract because we have told you of an upcoming change to the product or these terms, an error in pricing or description, a delay in delivery due to events outside our control or because you have a legal right to do so as a result of something we have done wrong.

If the watch is found to have a manufacturing defect within the scope of your statutory rights, we will reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

In all other circumstances you must pay the costs of return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Reasonable shipping costs are refundable.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@unconstrainedtime.com (or via the web-form on our contact page, or by social media (links at the bottom of every page of our website), which is checked daily with Instagram being the most likely to get through to us).

Warranty

We offer a 2 year warranty (commercial guarantee) which extends to workmanship defects, valid from date of purchase. This covers any form of mechanical fault and we will arrange a repair free of charge. You ship the watch back to us, and we will repair it and ship it back to you.

If your watch develops a fault within the first 30 days of purchase, you have a statutory right to a full refund. Between 30 days and six months, you are entitled to a repair or replacement. Our 2-year commercial warranty provides additional protection for workmanship defects beyond these periods. If you wish to cancel your contract with us, see the Model Cancellation Form on our Terms and Conditions and Website Disclaimer page.

The warranty does not cover damages that may occur from normal wear and tear and everyday use and does not cover: battery, aesthetic changes to the leather straps, nor does it cover accidents or damage caused by lack of care or normal wear and tear, nor does it cover damage due to intrusion of water or other liquids (UnconstrainedTime watches are not sold as “water-resistant”), or scratches.

Note that, if an O-ring or gasket fails shortly after purchase, that would typically be caused by a manufacturing defect in the watch case/body, which would be covered by the warranty. If an O-ring or gasket fails after more than a year, that would typically be due to normal wear and tear or lack of care, so would not be covered by the warranty.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
